System
Configuration - with Video Cameras only
For example a
group of eight cameras is connected via a multi core fibre to
the central rack. Each camera has a connection via a single
optical fibre to its adjacent junction box. The eight single
fibres are spliced to the multi core fibre whereby the splices
are accommodated within the fibre splice box. The multi core
fibre itself terminates at the fibre patch panel and each of the
fibres of the cable is attached to a connector. From here the
individual fibres are connected by means of fibre patch cables
to the appropriate optical receiver.

System Configuration - adding Laser Barrier
The figure above shows a
combination of the video section with the Laser Light Barrier
Section, forming a two step security system. In fact three
different kinds of intrusion detections are already involved in
this layout, the visual monitoring, the automated motion
detection of the video processor and finally the perimeter
protection by means of a Laser Light Barrier.
Since this layout makes use of Laser Light Barriers the alarm
processor is attached to the central rack.

System Configuration - adding Laser Barrier and IR Sensors
The configuration as shown in the figure above combines the
video section with the Laser Light Barrier section and in
addition the Infrared Motion Sensors, forming now a three step
security system. Four different kinds of intrusion detections
are involved in this layout, the visual monitoring, the
automated motion detection of the video processor, the perimeter
protection by means of the Laser Light Barrier and finally the
Infrared Motion Sensor System. The alarm bus of the motion
sensors is combined with those of the Laser Barrier thus, no
further alarm processor is needed.
